Every Tuesday, Ritmo Caliente offer lessons in salsa, bachata and kizomba. Classes start at 6:30pm, with casual social dancing from 9:30pm. Hosted by one of WA's finest salsa performers and leading salsa and bachata instructors, Lilliana and her team embody the essence and feel of true street Latin dancing.

Salsa is a popular dance (and musical) style that rose to prominence in mid 70’s New York. It has strong influences from Latin America, particularly Puerto Rico, and Cuba. The movements of salsa have origins in Cuban Son, Cha-cha-cha, Mambo, and other dance forms.
Bachata is an increasingly popular dance style that originated in the Dominican Republic. Today, it is danced all over the world. It has evolved into styles from Dominican to Sensual, Moderna, Madrid, Bachatatango and Nueva. The movements can incorporate fusion with other dance styles.
Kizomba is a West African style of dance, originating in Angola. The style relatively new on the world stage and is quickly growing in popularity. It is a derivative of Semba. The music is often sensual & romantic, with the songs traditionally sung in Portuguese.
